The Logitech Revue offers numerous application which seem to be run by the android software. It offers access to Netflix, Full Version of Youtube and Google Chrome to name a few. It can be used as live streaming devise with access to the internet at you fingertips (because it comes with a keyboard).
The Revue comes with a full size wire-less keyboard. This baby is thin, light, and sleek. The Revue gets an advantage against other live streaming devices in the market such as the Roku Box and the Jadoo Tv, mainly because of its keyboard making it much easier to navigate the web pages and the application. The Revue also supports the Logitech Harmony software which alows you to turn you Iphone or Android phone to work as a remote, not only for the Revue but you TV and you Satellite reviver as well.
The Revue box only offer a HDMI connection for the T.V. This can be a disadvantage to the Revue. Every T.V now comes with an HDMI input but if you bought a T.V over 4 years ago, it will not be compatible with the Revue unless an adapter is used such as an Hdmi to DVI cable. The cable will only output video, you will have to get another adopter which will split the audio from the spdif to analog RCA which will decrease the volume noticeably. If you do have an open hdmi (also hard to find) on your TV then you are in luck.
All in all the Revue is a great product. Better then anything else in the market for the price. It might lack the compatibility for an older T.V, but all the bells and whistles make up to be great product designed by Logitech, comes out to be a great buy for the money.
